We went to the Muqattam Cave Cathedral which is affiliated with the Coptic Orthodox Church. The church is located in the side of a mountain which is also home to 30,000 Christians who collect trash and sort out recycling for a living. Christians make up 13.5 percent of Egypt's population.
You will see Biblical stories etched into the mountain outside of the church, like the one below of Moses and the 10 commandments.
