Men from Soweto travel all throughout the suburbs digging in rubbish bins to find recycling. They take the recycling found, place it in a huge bag on wheels and travel long distances to turn it in for a small amount of money. They work so hard for very little. I value that they are working hard and try to make it easier for them by placing all my recycling in a separate trash bag.
This man was outside our gate the night before trash pickup.
